Oily Hair

Many pros say that washing hair everyday can be strip hair of natural, necessary oils. That is true to an extent; people with dry or color treated hair should not shampoo everyday. If your hair is extremely oily (example: your hair is so slick that you can comb it back and it'll stay in place without any styling products) like mine, it should be washed everyday with shampoo and conditioner made for oily hair. Deep conditioning treatments should be used every week or every other week, depending on the condition of your hair (concentrating the treatment at the ends of hair). Styling products should be used sparingly because too much product can weigh hair down and/or make hair even greasier. Don't forget to get your hair trimmed every 4-6 weeks to keep hair healthy and free of split ends. Here are some products that are great for you gals and guys with greasy hair. Come on, you know you wanna try 'em!
